My name is Daniel Polk. I am from the San Carlos Apache, Quechan, and Diné nations. My wife is Dyani White Hawk Polk and we have two daughters, Nina and Tusweca. I have a BS degree in Elementary Education from Haskell Indian Nations University. After my collegiate basketball career at HINU, I was introduced to the sport of disc golf in the spring of 2005. I was hooked from the very first throw I watched. My mentor, Henry Pohocsucut, threw over a football field length and I just couldn’t believe a disc fly that far. I remember thinking, “I want to do that!” After 10 years of playing disc golf, I was given the opportunity to represent a few different companies. Today, I am sponsored by Prodigy Disc, Airborn Disc Golf, Tanka Bar, and Blue Ribbon Pines.
